khatu shyam ringas aaj bhi khatu shahar mein bahut hi lokpriya hai. yah aksar vrat aur tyohar ke dauran khaya jata hai. bhojan ko mandir ke parikrama ke bad bhi khaya jata hai. khatu shyam ringas ek swadisht aur sasta bhojan hai jo rajasthan ke khatu shahar ki ek sanskriti hai.

Khatu Shyam Ji Mandir is located in the quarter of Sikar, Rajasthan, and is considered as one of the most important pilgrims destinations in the state. According to Hindu tradition, Khatu Shyam Ji is the incarnation of the son of Ghatotkacha, Barbarika.

It's said that Shree Krishna, to avoid similar ruinous results, asked Barbarika for his head( sheesh daan), to which he readily agreed. Shree Krishna was extremely happy with the devotion shown to him, and by the great immolation of Barbarika, he granted him a boon, according to which Barbarika would be known by Krishna’s name, Shyam Ji in the kaliyug( present times), and would be worshipped in his form.

khatu shyam ringas ka itihaas ek sweeya- seva samuday ke sath shuru hota hai jise khatu shyam samuday ke rup mein jana jata hai. samuday ne 1800 ke dasht mein khatu shahar mein ek mandir banaya. mandir lord shyam, ek hindu god hai. mandir ek jatil sthiti mein tha aur samuday ko mandir ke liye paise jama karne ki avashyakta thi. samuday ne ek bhojan banane ki yojana banayi jo sasta aur swadisht donon ho. unhone besan, shakkar, tel aur nariyal ke ras ka upyog karke khatu shyam ringas banae. bhojan bahut hi lokpriya tha aur samuday ne mandir ke liye paise jama karne mein saksham tha.

Legend has it that in the Dvapara Yuga( one of the four ages in Hindu cosmology), there lived an important and righteous Napoleon named Barbarika. He was the grandson of Bhima( one of the Pandava sisters from the Mahabharata). Barbarika held immense devotion and had entered godly blessings that granted him three magical arrows.

These arrows had the power to determine the outgrowth of any battle, as they would automatically seek out and destroy the weakest point in the adversary's forces.

Krishna blessed Barbarika and granted him a boon that he would be worshipped by the name of" Shyam" in the Kali Yuga( the current age) and that his addicts' wishes would be fulfilled. Hence, Khatu Shyam Ji is constantly depicted with his head held in his hand.

Seeing this, Barbarika realized the true nature of Krishna and revealed his godly crooks and arrows. In his modesty, he pledged to support whichever side demanded his help and promised to ensure that the losing side would be granted a win with his arrows. and The Trip of Khatu Shyam Ji can be traced back to ancient times, while there are variations in the details of the story, the substance remains the same

He'd decided to favor the weaker side so he could remain just, a decision which would have resulted in the complete obliteration of both sides, leaving only Barbarika as the sole survivor. It's said that Shree Krishna, to avoid similar ruinous results, asked Barbarika for his head (sheesh daan), to which he readily agreed.

The great immolation of Barbarika to test him, Krishna asked Barbarika to tie all the leaves of a banyan tree together using a single thread. Barbarika agreed and began plucking leaves. As he plucked one flake, further leaves grew in its place, making it impossible for him to complete the task.

Barbarika wished to partake in the great Kurukshetra War, which was fought between the Pandavas and the Kauravas. Lord Krishna, alive of Barbarika extraordinary powers, approached him disguised as a Brahmin. Krishna challenged Barbarika claim that he could end the war single-handedly. He asked Barbarika how he would support one side or the other, considering his arrows would destroy both sides due to their sins.
